- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Pretty disappointing--went to Family Orthopedics after weekend when I sprained my ankle while out of state. Followed up with the orthopedist as recommended by the ER doc I saw previously. Went to Family Orthopedics because the office is close to my apartment, and still had swelling and soreness in my ankle. I arrived early for my appointment with x-rays in hand, the nurse who processed my information seemed like she had an attitude. The doctor barely touched me, said the swelling could last up to 18 moths, suggested a compression stocking and an AirCast boot. Gave me both--never suggested a followup visit or anything. Went to a different doctor, had an MRI and found out I had a tear in a tendon in my ankle as well as synovitis, requiring surgery. Visiting Family Orthopedics was a waste of time and money.December 28, 2016by A Google User
