- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪The emphasis was not on the needs of the child. This office wants to focus on things that do not pertain to the care of the child. The office turns down patients for paperwork issues that HIPPA or Law does not require. Insurance information was given, all claims have been paid but all the sudden because no card was given they want to refuse treatment. I feel an insurance card does not mean insurance is active or not, the important information is the ID# and as stated all information was given. Previous claims were submitted and paid so obviously the insurance information was given. A card is not required but if that is what this office wants to say their policy is and allow the card to be the indicator for care I am happy to go elsewhere. There was no happy personality greeting at the front door. No recognition of the patient who comes in regularly at the scheduled appt times and dates. Long waits occur even when appt is made. I called another office, gave the same ins information, they called, verified ins and now no stress appointments.
